An extraordinary opportunity to discover the most hidden and evocative corners of the fortified citadel of Terra del Sole: the casemates of the Bastion of Santa Maria, the Historical Archive of the Castello del Capitano di Piazza and the ancient prisons of Palazzo Pretorio.

A journey through defence, justice and memory, to understand the town’s military, institutional and judicial role during the Renaissance, but also to reflect on the delicate balance between the protection of cultural heritage and respect for the underground environments that today are home to a precious array of wildlife.
